We envision a world where workplaces bring out the best in their people, though inclusive cultures that give every employee enough support and challenge to grow.
To that end, we work with forward-thinking companies to create more equitable workplaces where all employees, particularly those from marginalised groups, can thrive.
Our facilitators have lived and worked around the world, with roles in organisations from small startups to multi-billion-dollar corporates. To date, we've brought ally skills to hundreds of people in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the UK, and the USA:
Lauren has worked with tech companies around the world--as a management consultant with Bain & Co. in San Francisco advising Fortune 500 tech companies, interim COO of an eCommerce startup in Jordan, and co-founder of data science consultancy Analytics for Us. Lauren graduated from Stanford University with a degree in economics.
Erica is an architectural graduate, social entrepreneur, community weaver, and photographer, as well as the founder of E.A.Curation. She works with non-profit organisations, government agencies, education providers, and companies to curate meaningful experiences. She graduated from the University of Auckland with a Masters in Architecture.
Teresa is co-founder of Narrative Muse, a startup that connects audiences with books and movies by and about women and non-binary people. She's also worked as a scriptwriter in radio, television, and film, and she's served as a Red Cross delegate throughout the Pacific. She has a BFA from New York University and a MA in Creative Writing from Victoria University.
Vivian is passionate about using technology for the good of humanity. She works with startups and charities to optimise their technology strategy and align it with their business goals. She is also certified in agile team facilitation by ICAgile. Vivian graduated from the University of Auckland with a B.Sc. in Physics and a Masters in Sociology.
Brough is co-founder of Narrative Muse, which promotes women-led books and films by matching users to their perfect content. She has thirteen years of experience as a film editor and co-founded a queer creative community called Romp. Brough has a degree in Film and Digital Media from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Alix is a software developer who has worked with some of New Zealand's fastest-growing companies. After studying Psychology and Philosophy, she graduated from AUT with a Bachelor of Computer and Information Science. In her spare time, she runs the Auckland Google Developers Group as the Google Women Techmakers Lead.
Our facilitators have been trained by Valerie Aurora, the founder of Frameshift Consulting, who leads the Ally Skills Workshops worldwide.
